The Montgomery Tribune is a project dedicated to educating people about the Alabama State University lunch counter sit-ins that took place in 1960, during the Civil Rights Movement. This was a group project that was designed to be an interactive experience about newspaper bias during the coverage of this event. This project was two-fold, half a print design, and half digital, working in tandem to showcase bias through a traditional newspaper, and tell the real story through the application. This project was awarded an Office of Research, Undergraduate Research Bronze Award.
